Itinerary
- Day 1 Cairo
Arrive in Cairo at any time.
- Day 2 Cairo (B)
Explore the legendary Pyramids and the Great Sphinx before checking out the Egyptian Museum, where the famous treasures of Tutankhamun's tomb are on display. We then take an overnight train to Aswan.

- Days 3-4 Aswan (2B,D)

Enjoy beautiful Aswan! Visit Philae temple located on a Nile island, or the interesting Nubian Museum. Perhaps retreat to the cool of the botanical gardens on Kitchener Island. Take an optional trip to the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel and perhaps round off the day with a sunset drink at one of the local floating restaurants. Enjoy the opportunity to visit a Nubian family home for a traditional meal with welcoming hosts. |
- Day 5 Felucca (B,L,D)
Spend the day and night floating down the Nile on a traditional Egyptian felucca boat. Relax and watch the scenery glide by as we head towards Luxor, the ancient capital of Egypt. We end up at Kom Ombo, with a chance to visit the cult temple here, dedicated to the crocodile and falcon gods. Sleep under the stars on the deck of our traditional felucca. Take full advantage of our one of a kind support boat, which always seems to conveniently appear when you most need it for meals, cold drinks, or a quick shower to cool yourself off.
- Days 6-7 Luxor (2B)
| There is so much to see in this ancient place. Choose to visit the magnificent Karnak Temple, the Mummification Museum or spend time wandering the bazaars. You will not want to miss the famous tombs of the Valley of the Kings to top off your Luxor experience. |

- Days 8-9 Hurghada (2B)
Head to the beachside town of Hurghada. Relax at a local cafe or explore the city on foot. Enjoy the many optional activities this area has to offer including snorkelling, diving or just relaxing on the beach - the choice is yours.
- Days 10-11 Cairo (2B)
Back in Cairo, enjoy a guided walk through Islamic Cairo and visit the amazing Khan al-Khalili markets.
- Day 12 Depart Cairo (B)
Tour ends in Cairo.
